Wrekin Sheetmetal is a West Midlands Telford-based sheet metal manufacturer supporting customers across the UK. We provide a complete in-house service including laser cutting, CNC punching, CNC forming, welding, powder coating, assembly, and finishing for a wide range of industries.
We specialise in high-mix, repeatable sheet metal fabrication, where quality, delivery reliability, and clear communication are critical. Our History
Based in the heart of the Midlands, we deliver to customers around the corner and across the globe.
Wrekin Sheetmetal was established in 2003, beginning in a small unit with a handful of staff and a clear aim: to provide reliable, high-quality sheet metal fabrication backed by clear ownership and straightforward communication.
In its early years, the business primarily supplied void property companies across the UK and Europe, where reliability, consistency, and the ability to deliver at scale were essential. This work helped shape the disciplined, delivery-focused approach that still defines how we operate today.
As customer needs evolved, Wrekin Sheetmetal grew steadily and deliberately. Investment in machinery, software, and automation allowed the business to diversify, offering machine time and fabrication capacity to OEM customers requiring dependable support for repeat and ongoing production.
In more recent years, further investment has strengthened our end-to-end capability. The introduction of in-house powder coating and assembly lines has enabled us to supply fully finished, production-ready components, reducing reliance on third parties and improving quality control and lead times.
To complete this integrated approach, we also invested in our own delivery lorry and vehicles, giving us greater control over collection and delivery and ensuring finished parts arrive when and how our customers expect.
Today, Wrekin Sheetmetal operates from a 40,000 sq ft facility with a team of 40 skilled employees, supporting customers across the UK with high-mix, repeatable sheet metal manufacturing. Despite this growth, our way of working remains unchanged.
